Could you please tell more stories about this alternate mix?
Yes - but that one contains the officially 'released' stereo mix with the drums in the left channel and the tambourine to the right. This alternate mix is entirely different.
Where are the differences ? ? ?
I can't hear any difference.
I didn't made A/B comparison, but I used my own ears and the notes in my database.
bass & drums - piano (Stu) - guitar (left channel)
vocal (center)
tambourine - lead guitar (right channel)
back-up vocals - hand clapping (right channel)
To me, same mix, nothing new.
Did you actually listen? The placement of the instruments is entitely different
Where did this "alternate version" come from?
Isolate frequencies from the tambourine, isolate upper frequencies from the drums (snare + cymbals), then send them both to the center of the stereo image.
EQ + pan.
That's what I hear. Again, nothing new. Maybe I'm wrong.
