Correct; some people that I get stuff from, might already be mad just because I posted these snippets, resulting in not sending me anything anymore... (although they would probably reconsider the moment I can put the (Raw) pro video shot of a certain 2003 club show up for trade, LOL!)

As you can see from the first page, the greed for the bootlegs is very big, even if the songs already exist: on CD's u.s.w.
Why should not these tapes appear on a bootleg and for collectors it would be more interesting. The desire for them would then be much greater. Then you have a nice cover.

The insiders usually don't want everybody to have their (former) rarities.

A lot of "insiders" would love to share this stuff, but they just can't...
Just imagine (hypothetically) that a studio engineer gives you a couple of tracks, but you have to promise him not to distribute them or he might loose his job.
What would you do?????

Some people just don't understand that people's livelihood may be at stake when they share a few tracks with a super fan.
I don't blame anyone for keeping anything they have in private.
Now, mind you, I'd love to hear it when I visit said collectors.
I have an acquaintance who has some unheard Elvis stuff from the 60's.
Only a select few Elvis fans have heard this stuff and rightfullyso.

I got permission from rep who gave me the soundboard from the 1990 Tour.

The long versions were obviously produced for the 12" single, but not used eventually. On the German 12" the note "Extended Version" was printed on the sleeve, but made invisible, if I remember correctly.
