It wasn't meant like that. Surely most tape collectors don't send their rarities to the bootleggers. But some do.

As you can see from the first page, the greed for the bootlegs is very big, even if the songs already exist: on CD's u.s.w.
Why should not these tapes appear on a bootleg and for collectors it would be more interesting. The desire for them would then be much greater. Then you have a nice cover.

A lot of "insiders" would love to share this stuff, but they just can't...
Just imagine (hypothetically) that a studio engineer gives you a couple of tracks, but you have to promise him not to distribute them or he might loose his job.

The tracks match one another. 'Still_In_Love_III' is -1.0% too fast

I'll be Sixty next week and I know one thing; if I ever get the news that I'm not going to live very long anymore, I will start sharing uncirculated stuff!

What's strange is that really good stuff like the Virchov tapes or previously the Foxes in the Boxes stuff comes out "easily" and other stuff is completely "hush, hush"...

Snippets are fine by me, I remember the excitement when bkeys posted his in early December 2014, still beats reading about them in books/online, like "Ready Yourself" and "Giving it Up" that were first mentioned in the Weissbuch in late 1991 and only surfaced in August 2006 !
