Volume 06: Hamburg

This is part six of a series of rare recordings of Mick Taylor with the Jack Bruce Band in Europe 1975. With thanks to nzb who provided half a dozen of rare shows (Offenbach, Voorburg, Geleen, Hamburg, Glasgow & London), thanks to Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who send me all of his tapes from this era and gave critic regarding my work and to my friend Riccardo (MrNo) who participated to a big part of my collection and LTB that send us his tapes from the german shows.

I work first with nzb version then I receive LTB version: both coming from the same source.
I had compared them (and using the Manchester show as reference): both had a good speed, nzb’s version is muddier and LTB version is a little better but missed half a tone. So I use LTB’s version but with a half a tone correction (thanks to my daughter that is musician and got better ears as me!).
Here what I done:
1°) adding half a tone
2°) adding a little more treble
3°) amplified the sound (without saturation = 1,5db)
There was a mistake at the end of « Spirit » a segment of more of 1 minute was repeated.
On nzb version « Sunshine Of Your Love » was cut at 5’43, on LTB is cut at 6’01 and after a gap the song continue but with a very different quality (in particuliar this segment didn’t need a half tone correction !)… so I’m not sure that this segment come from the same show and I decided, after upgraded it, to added it as a 2nd part of the song. (I mean as a new track).
I reworked the beginnings/ends of the cd-rs

also download the artwork-1 from imagebam and delete this one from wetransfer
