There are no "safe" torrent clients!
When torrenting, you are exchanging data between PCs (and servers that can introduce malware). Also, you'll never know in advance if the torrent you're downloading is safe.
So whatever client you use; it's up to you to have optimum protection against viruses, malware and the like installed on your PC.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm always happy to learn something new.
