Post: RW 1968.06.22 Jeff Beck New York City - Lossy > different sources, not rare

I received this note after my request for missing and lossy shows

RW 1968.06.22 Jeff Beck New York City lossy
date is correct
but it seems no tape is around;
Jimi Hendrix jammed with the band!
Now if that was available, we should know about!! It would be shown if searched on Google!!

When this is true, in that case I can forget about an upgrade

Well I sure thought JIMI Hendrix is playing along here, but must admit I was wrong.

Hi stonesmuziekfan!

Just listened to half of it, don't hear Hendrix!
This might be the same as the Fillmore stuff I received from you today!

Some stories about Hendrix and Beck from the Steve Hoffman Forum,
please don't believe everything you read there!

But at one point Jeff remembers:

"I’ve got a photograph of that. Thank god someone took a picture, because there’s hardly any record of those goings-on"

I now think this here is taken from the "Fillmore Masters" you sent me!

Check Rod's intro to "Beck's Boogie" !!

I was sure Hendrix played on first track, but whom am I smoking smiley
Gave it a closer listen.
It is played at live audience
At the end of track 2 you here the audience and a lady say "thank you indeed, it's on the LP"
At the end of track 3 you here the audience and this same lady say "thank you"
track 4 is sure no Hendrix

As there is no LP with Beck+Hendrix it must be from another day.

To me the "lady" in question is Rod Stewart, same words used in "Fillmore Masters", which should be from end of JULY 1968, not June 22nd!

I maintain, all tracks are from Fillmore end of July 68;
except "Sweet Little Angel", which I have yet to check with other bootlegs.
