THE ROLLING STONES
Killesberg, Stuttgart, Germany
September 20, 1970


I have completed this work. It is the role of mother the DAC version 070 'Germany 1970'

A couple of weeks ago I compared my version of the show I received on a cassette in the early eighties to the one that is in common circulation (last upload by Ozzy64 in October 2011) and found out that my source is from an alternate recording of the show. I then tried to track down the master reel but had no success. So we end up here with a copy from the master reel which was made in the early eighties (thanks to hg).


Sound Quality: Between fair and good (judge for yourself by listening to the samples).

Lineage: Master Reel > Cassette > CD-R > EAC > WAV > FLAC

There is also a newsreel circulating featuring excerpts of JJF from this very concert. Wonder if there is a longer film in the vaults.

You're right. 0.15% too fast. The sound is even better in the normal speed.
