According to what VideoJames mentioned on IORR some months ago, Paradiso 1995 might be the next From The Vault release...

I agree! The 4 club-shows degenerated one after the other in terms of setlist interest and sheer performance :
Paradiso I may be the most important gig of the 1989-2016 era while Brixton was more or less a stadium show in an indoor venue.
So in that respect it's only logical RS release them in reverse order. First the ok-not-great Brixton, then Olympia, then PII, then PI (aka "the Holy Grail" ).
And once we have the four SB shows we'll be able to make a "Stripped Expanded" fan-album like this one, only better...

I'm wondering if DAC had the chance of purchasing these 1995 SBD tapes in 2014 but chose not to....because 2 years ago, they had a release scheduled; "French Made 95" but it never came out; as far as I know, anyway. Maybe the price for the tapes was too high or something.

Didn't read the comments from the last page, but to my ears the rattlesnake release sounds excellent (considering the source they had to work with : stereo video) Considerably better than the vinyl (which is also good, don't get me wrong)
And is my preferred release in this case. If one wants to talk about brickwalled recordings : listen to the official digital release from Crosseyed Heart. That one has a dynamic range of 5. Way too much, and not very listenable on my stereo.

Well although i'm grateful and happy this soundboard tape finally surfaced, i must admit it is rather disappointing. As noted here before, the vocals are sometimes saturated (All Down The Line for instance), Keith is usually far away in the mix (Midnight Rambler...), the backing vocals are often very loud in the mix which is usually horrible (eg on All Down The Line, again... The first chorus is simply catastrophic and you hear it VERY well).

I think it's a great recording, it's Rolling Stones, they have never been perfect, what comes to sound, but try to listen to the music, instead of the balance of the recording, it's after all a soundboard, not a finished production, with overdubs and faults removed. To te uploaders great thanks.

Don't get my wrong: of course i appreciate the music and this recording and the people who shared the cd rip (my poor vinyl rip was just a teasing!). Maybe it is my way of saying a AUD-SBD matrix may have an even better sound...
