But sound is very poor (74th gen copy) and therefore the speed is off...

i am preparing to remaster those tracks....what is the best version?

Imho the best version is the OBR vinyl (though it also runs too fast) : it has the best sound but it only has 24 or so tracks.

The Hot Lips 2-cd set is the most complete but it sounds pretty bad.

EDIT : I had totally forgotten about the C2C release : "Peaches Gone South". It's been heavily remastered/noise-reduced so it sounds weird and metallic but at least the music on this one runs at the right speed.

The right speed enables you to hear Keef's lovely drunken slur between tracks.
"Diiiiiiiiis one... isssssssss titled... hips!"
