Hi all,

please pardon my ignorance, but I recently downloaded a DVD from here and was wondering if someone could go about helping me with how to make it. I'm used to using Movie Maker but this appears to be a bit different.

I've never used Moviemaker so don't know anything about it but there's a few Freeware burners here........... [filehippo.com] ........although I use Nero 6 ultra myself

Does anyone have any recomendations for DVD burning software for a Mac computer? I know there is a lot of freeware out there - just wondering if anyone has any experience with which ones are the best

youcan download it as part of
windows essentials 2012
when executed this webinstaller, choose 2nd option
and mark only [photogallery and] moviemaker
when installed, you can start it by
start -> all apps -> movie maker

When I say different I mean there's a bunch of different files and I'm not sure what they all mean.

You can watch the video files from your download by using VLC Media Player.

If you are referring to files like VIDEO_TS.BUP and VIDEO_TS.IFO, and a bunch of VOB files, stick them in a folder. Name a folder after the DVD contents, and within that you need a folder called VIDEO_TS. Use the burning software so that the VIDEO_TS folder is in the root of the resulting DVD and watch it when it's done.

Or just watch the VIDEO_TS folder using VLC on your Mac.
