I just checked a couple of files , that I have from this CA-Remaster.
Files on CD 01 seem to be okay, files from CD 02 look lossy indeed.
But that's the way they are, I got my version from ELL.

I don't have those files from boot before the Captain did his remaster,
maybe they were always short in the higher frequencies?
Or maybe he rolled them off? Too much hiss or distortion??

... or noise reduction? Files that have been stripped off their hiss often look lossy.

CRC failure usualy is a download error >>> download again
On the other hand files from filefactory lately show the same failure and has nothing to do with your download.
The advice howver is to download a seccond time to eliminate download failure.

I tried it 4 times and allways the same!
