Is it really a new release or the same one that was released on the Sweet Summer Sun Hyde Park 2 DVD + Bluray + 2 CD?

I doubt very much that anything new is going to be featured on this.
Amazon US has the running time as 56 minutes: [www.amazon.com] which is the same as the old Granada television release.
So far, as far as I know, there has been no announcement of a release outside of North America.

You may be right. It's difficult to think of the same 56 minutes that everybody knows. Maybe those Amazon listings have just picked up on old specifications. Let's look forward to some extras. I'd pay money for a new one if all it did was blank out that unwanted "Blackhill Enterprises" in yer face 1969-style popup thing above the stage. At a concert like that, who wants to know? Not me.

Anyway, will await developments with interest. I like this series. An "official bootleg" oxymoron in excellent quality audio and video, perfecting scratchy stuff we've only been able to see until now. Plus nice booklet inserts.

It appears it will only be on dvd/bluray as well..no cd...

I would be happy if they just had the board audio tape to remix and make available. I love this performance even as out of tune and "out of time" as it is! The 2nd live performance of JJF (Brian performed on the first live version at the NME concert,right?) is actually more "honest" than any since. "Mercy Mercy" and "Down Home Girl" are fantastic ( its been a mission of mine to find a sb of DHG but just cant do it) Midnight Rambler is brutal. They knew what this was gonna be live from the get go, I think. I would love to have the full video but just wonder who actually has it? Granada? I love the part of the opening Johnny Winter song on the video (wonder what made them pick that?) when, as raw as it sounded Jagger and Keith look at each other as MT plays slide.."Yeah, this is gonna kick ass!!"

I emailed somebody who helped on the project asking if there was anything new on this Hyde Park. He said, "I believe that's the one I just finished working on for Eagle Rock. I offered them 20 minutes of private footage (16mm/sound) someone shot of the show, but they didn't go with it. So I don't think there will be any new footage, just some extra memorabilia I gave them. I think they worked on the audio, so that may be the big difference?"

So this release will not include the extra footage found elsewhere in the world?
(ie, Mercy Mercy, Stray Cat Blues and No Expectations)
