Apologies if I was misleading. I am thinking more on the lines we will get an official CD/ DVD release at some point, as the whole show would have been recorded.

Understandable...I've heard many times that the Stones have professionally recorded every show since...1989? Maybe 1994... Either way, I'm pretty sure you're right...Mick did say that this album was essentially a teaser...a ten-dollar teaser.

Relistening to this download now - Great performance but don't understand how they can sell something that sounds so bad to fans.
Wasn't it supposed to be properly released on CD by the end of the year ?

Maybe they'll release it along with the DVD/Blu-ray of the '90028' Concert-Movie, done by Paul Dugdale (Sweet Summer Sun, Havana Moon).

.Billboard spoke with Dugdale, who has now directed four films for the Stones -- including 2013’s Sweet Summer Sun - Hyde Park Live, and a yet-to-be released film shot in 2015 at LA’s Fonda Theatre of the Sticky Fingers live playback.

Paul: No they never do. But it always feels like it might be the last tour. I think people are just waiting for that to happen.

Paul: No. People have been asking them in interviews since the 1980s, 'Are you thinking about calling it a day?' Anyway I did that show, and another one last year in Los Angeles, a tiny show where they played the whole of the Sticky Fingers album. The film was gonna be released as part of the record re-release, but it didn't ever come out. And we did this film and the one that's just the Cuba concert.

I have only heard bits and pieces of the Fonda, but getting something 'mastered for iTunes it seems to mean if you play it thru anything but your cheap computer speakers or earbuds the sound is tinny and thin. I would love to hear what it sounds like properly mixed and mastered for a CD release.
