Recorded row 11 right under the PA stacks. Brutal volumes and I loved every minute of it. Mics had a little trouble taking the sound pressure here n there, but nothing that would hinder your enjoyment of the show. Sample posted above on my server. I will finish mixing and release it soon in FLAC and V0 mp3 here. Whole show came out great. No disturbances, cool crowd around us.

That sample sounds great, I don't think it needs too much work, just don't remove too much bass so it comes out sounding flat, but I'm sure you know what your doing since you work with these kind of things

The raw recording is far too 'colored' due to the equipment I used on this gig, but I promise not to over-EQ it!

I haven't listened to it in ages. I had some issue with seeing levels at the show (security was eying me so I didn't want to mess around too much). My original version was a bit muddy I believe (goal was flat, ofcourse I could have scrwed up too!), then several labels got hold of it and re-eq'd everything, including "Sister Morphine". I was so pissed at everyone trying to cash in. Happens to every release, although these days I doubt there is much of a market for purchasing bootlegs. No need to pay when everyone puts it out there for free.

Columbus '05 is indeed too bright sounding but the fantastic performance makes up for it. I still listen to that tape every now and then. Check out Drake's recording of the Memphis '05 show, that one is mastered perfectly, fantastic listening

This is what most tapers say about the Japanese stealing their work. I've often been flattered by it! Don't know why but it gives me a kick when one of my stupid recordings ends up a boot production...

Excellent artwork! Will use it in the release. Second round of mixing today. Starting to really come together. Far more balanced than the preview. Crisp without being shrill. Fat bass too.

My mix of the preview, '02 Jumping Jack Flash [we.tl] 'I'm waiting for if the originals is better than mine. I hope it will be super.
