Anyone know where I might find a copy? I've tried the usualy suspects (ebay, amazon, Wyman's own site)

Thanks, but that's the Wyman site I tried. When you enter information the page goes blank so I'm guessing they're sold out. Looking for pre-owned/used if anyone has one to sell.

Just bumping this up to see it catches anyone's eye who may know where to find one. Thx

There's 1 (one!) for sale (in English) on Amazon Germany:

1 (one!) (in English) on Amazon Spain:

and 1 (one!) in English on Amazon France:

It's in fact only 1, located in Germany, but offered on different Amazon sites

Thanks again. Might want to check your receipt. I just pre-ordered the Wyman book and my receipt says they're sending me the Mott The Hoople book.. I mean I like the Mott, but don't want the book!

Make an inquiry. Mott the hoople was the same here. It´s
BWs book in the end (they confirm it).

Another thing: Nowhere is indicated that the price is GBP 200,
it says 50. That confuses me more.

Thanks Chris,

but deposit means that that´s the money you spent (at least in my world) grinning smiley
It doesn´t mean necessarily that that´s the first part.

Anyway, there´s no "229 GBP" on the concertlive page.

50 quid must be the amount asked to reserve a copy of the book.
I guess you'll have to be asked to pay the remainder right before shipping.

Does anyone know how many pages the book will have?

Well, The first screen capture (where they mention the £229) links to the concertlive page, where you can "pre-order" the book. When you pre-order, you get the order screen (see 2nd screen capture), where it says deposit.
I looked up the meaning of "deposit" in English and this is what it's supposed to mean:
"to give as security or in part payment".

But you are right; on the concertlive page, there is nothing to be found about the actual price...
(take a look at the other books they have for sale; most of them give you different options; deposit, full price and so on)

I did send them a mail asking for the correct price; as soon as I get an answer, I'll post it here.

Hi Chris and others.

This book is about 2 years old now. Please have a closer look at the upperleft side of the Concertlive pre order page. It says 04 APR 2013.

Last december someone posted a link on IORR to this Concertlive page and some of us were able to order the last (?) books for 75 pound if I remember well.
Total cost for me was only € 90 including shipping.

I must say it's really confusing that these page(s) are still active and I hope you will be lucky! It's a great book to own.

Let it rock!

Wow, thanks for letting us know. They just took my money last night for the Wyman book based on the ad and sent me email saying they're sending me a Mott The Hoople book.

Hi Snoopy,

I noticed your remark about Mott The Hoople.
Very strange indeed.

Off course you should get a full refund of your money, but let's all pray you will receive the Scrapbook!

Let it rock!

Thanks Rosto. Yes, enjoy Mott's music, but it's the Wyman book I want smiling smiley

Hi Chris,

so what was the answer you got and what is finally the Price?

Thanks

It`s nice to be here, .....

The answer is in the screen capture. (We will be confirming the total price for you this week, so please check back on the product page for this information)

I checked back a week, 10 days later, but nothing had changed.

So I mailed them again and then they got back to me saying that the book wasn't available anymore and that they would refund my 50£.

A week or two ago, It was on my credit card statement, marked something like Refund Order Number xxxx.

But I checked minutes ago, and they are still offering it with a deposit of 50£!!!!

Update from concertive:

"Dear those who have pre-ordered their copy of the Bill Wyman publication,

We are delighted to inform you that we have now received all copies of the book,
ready to post out.

We apologise for the confusion around the final price of the book, which we
are delighted to say will stay at the £50 that you have already paid
,
exclusively for those who have purchased to date. "

Quite a bargain! 30 GBP postage had to be added today (maybe they want to
discourage some...) But not me. 80 instead of over 200...hehe

Certainly difficult to communicate with this company. Maybe cuz I'm in U.S., but took two weeks for them to return a "we will respond in 24 hours" question.

Yesterday received similar email to yours and so I clicked on "pay postage" for the book and it says I will be receiving a Bill Wyman "Live CD" ??

As they listed a similar mistake earlier (Mott The Hoople book instead of Wyman book) I'm not going to bother trying to contact them again, I'll just wait and see what I get, and if it's not correct I'll let my cc company handle it.

Update:
The Bill Wyman book arrived via UPS from England today and it is beautiful!

Some worries it would ever happen, but the company (Concert Live) came thru in the end with a very nice product...Included both a vinyl and CD of two of his singles.

About 1/3 thru it, good stuff, not the usual "Up & Down w/ the Rolling Stones" that I read in my teens.

It's good to read they have finally sent the book.
Mine was sent last december, so I don't understand why it took so long.
Could it be a reprint then?

Let it rock!
