Final shows with Mick Taylor on American soil.
This has absolutely nothing to do with In Exotic Honululu on Contraband / Ruthless Rhymes
(worst b**tleg in history) and is of far superior quality than the most recent upgrade that
came out in 1997.
Comes with 2 separate booklets: the 1973 Tour book replica (16 pages) and our
own 28-page full-colour booklet.

It is supposed to be a copy of Empress Valley's "Sweet Tropical Sun".

I am also on Dime and Traders Den, but of course best of all on ELL.

EV's release titled Sweet Tropical Sun includes 8CD's (2 set of 4 discs).

Here are the length of each EVSD's disc:
New sources:

Old sources:

January 22, 1973 (1st): 71:23

Maybe that can help.

I don't know if Tropical Thunder is a knock-off of one of Empress valley's set.
I know for sure that the new sources are great. And EVSD's packaging is icing on the cake.

So far I don't have given up to upload the complete set at ELL. But every day gone without access to ELL, is slowly killing my faith.

Traffic Shaping wasn't a satement of fact, it was a best guess.

The facts are:

The site itself is working perfectly well.
When I can't log in via my browser, I can still get straight into the server via ftp.
Several people have told me that they can get onto EL from one network but not another.

So the site is working, the network is connected and the DNS (URL redirector) is working. Yet some traffic gets through, and some doesn't.

So my best guess at what the problem is was Traffic Shaping, because it seems to best fit what is being observed.

I maintain the site code, I have no insight into what is going on once that wire goes through the wall ...and if anyone can tell me what is wrong then please do ...

What happened when the problems occured?
I guess something happened or somebody made some change or perhaps did the site get attacked?
Hope you will find out. This site is the best...!!! I hope I won't have to say "was" the best...!!!

At the moment I have no problems with the site; opening, search function, starting a torrent; all takes a couple of seconds.
It hasn't always been like that (there were days that I simply couldn't get in, sometimes a couple of days in a row), but right now it's working perfect for me.

but of course I did some changes during the trouble days to find out where the problem is.
so this may have caused additional trouble. in the end I returned to the old
settings and it seems to work and the problems are not caused by the page or the
server itself.

Apart from a few days around 10th ~ 12th Jan there have been people on the site as normal. A problem did occur then which was fixed by falo.
At the time this started nothing had been changed to the best of my knowledge. Certainly no changes to the site code. And I have a test setup anyway that I try all changes on before updating the live site. There is no evidence of any attacks.
Apart from those few days I have been on the site every day. It just started to get slower before Christmas and then people started complaining that they couldn't get in at all.
And this is the strange thing about it, while some people haven't been able to get in for days, others have been there all the time. So some people think the site is dead, but the rest of us know that it isn't.

I know people are getting frustrated by it but we are not intending to be a "was" ...

What a bizarre combination of minor things that lead to this problem.
