That's a reason to remastered the outtakes !!! Make it listenable, and have a real (complete) collection with best sources aivable !

It's not you...file factory may be a treasure trove but it's sketchy...lots of 'malicious websites' blocked my anti-virus...Should I say it? Okay...'don't Play with Fire'

Is anyone else having trouble unzipping?

Little Boy Blue downloaded and unzipped with no problems, and is great!

I downloaded Volume 2, and am having a lot of trouble unzipping the file.

WinZip is giving me the following error messages:

"Invalid Folder Name"
"Invalid File Name"
"System cannot create the specified path"
"System cannot find the specified path"

As I proceed, WinZip is not able to retrieve all of the files.

I downloaded the file a second time, but am still having problems.

I am using WinZip Pro, Version 18.5. Should I be using something else?

Any help is appreciated.

The problem is that the files have been named way too long by the time they are unzipped (or try to be unzipped).

The first thing to do is to change the name of the zip file to only one letter or number so that it is, for instance '1(.zip}'. The next thing to do is to transfer this re-named zip file out of where you have downloaded it (for instance - 'My Documents') & put it where the path name will, again, only have one letter, & that letter will be the name of your 'Local Disk'.

Here's what you do. On your desktop, go to 'My Computor', click on that, you will then see something like 'Local Disk (H)', click on that, this will then look as if you've opened 'My Documents' but the address at the top left will look like 'H:\', transfer your file there there & unzip, when you unzip you want to 'unzip here'.

The whole point is to get as fewer letters in the address BEFORE you unzip the file. teagueraw has used really long file names, directory names & zip file names, these all accumulate & many times are too long, Windows has a maximum file length name, over the limit & the file just won't show up even though it's there.

Once you've got everything unzipped, go & remove all the superfluous nomenclature like recording info, dates, etc & just leave the track number & song title, THEN move the whole lot back to where you need it.

The excessive length of the naming of the files has been brought up elsewhere, one person had success in renamimg the files INSIDE the zip file. I failed completely in that endevour & really messed up the zip.

I kept playing with the file after I posted here, and found the problem to be exactly what you said. By coincidence, I got it working in pretty much the same way you describe.

I was just coming back to post that I was able to make everything work.

Mega is faster for me too...but what is good for somebody could be not so good for other...it depends on each side...so we have to handle what we have and can get on each case.
