HM do you know who took this pic? Could it be the late great Helmut Newton? I know he spent a few hours int the studio during the SG sessions...

I think so, if you check in the SG Deluxe book there is some great shots from him.
It can be Ken Regan too, but If I have to chose definitely I would say HN.

Here's the Montauk '75 rehearsal tape - or at least what I have of it.

Includes a couple of jams, Melody, Jungleman, and Jeanie Jeanie Jeanie.

One file.

If anyone wants to work on it, feel free.

When I started collecting outtakes in 1990 and bought "Hot Wacks", this is what was available now sorted by tentative release date on boots :

1987 : Tattoo You Sessions : "All Inside Our Crazy Dreams" and "Honky Tonk Heaven"
1986 : Dirty Work Sessions : first batch with "Deep Love", "Stricly Memphis", "What Am I Gonna Do With Your Love", "You're Too Much"
1986 : Emotional Rescue sessions : first batch as heard on "Still in Love"
1985 : Undercover Sessions : first batch with "Still in Love", Keith's "Think I'm Going Crazy" on "Goin' Mad and Wild" (RSSLP-002)
1983 : "Lonely At The Top" Boot with outtakes from 1973 to 1979
1982 : Some Girls sessions : first batch as heard on "Some Other Girls", "Spend it So Fast", "All Them Women", etc..
1982 : "Accidents Will Happen" : double LP with Claudine
1978 : Black and Blue Sessions on "Reggae'n'Roll" : probably all sourced from a tape French journalist Daniel Vermeille stole from Keith in Munich in 1975

The most important releases during the vinyl era :

1973 - Bright Lights Big City
1979 - The Trident Mixes
1979/80 - Reggae'n' Roll
1981 - Black And Blue Sessions Vol.1 - bad quality but new tracks
1981 - Some More Girls - very important release - some tracks are in stereo only on this release
1981 - Reggae'n'Roll II
1981/82 - Paris Reheasals For Some Girls
1982 - Claudine Accident ... (Eva)
1982 - The Paris Rehearsals (Eva)
1983 - Unsearchable Stars
1983 - Lonely At The Top
1983 - Jam
1984 - Genius Is Pain
1985 - Toronto Sessions A Stone Alone
1986 - Jah Is Not Dead / They Never Seem / The Emotional Rescue sessions
1986/87 - All Inside / Honky Tonk Heaven
1988 - The Last Goodbye

There's a WT link here [www.iorr.org] and I've uploaded it on Mega for safekeeping : [mega.co.nz]

Listening to it on some good cans right now, Emotional Rescue is really a nice alternate version with that guitar in the right channel, sounds like it could be Mick? Sadly the "All About You' with Mick on backing vox that BKeys had previewed in December isn't there.

Wait, so is the Fijikeys "Melody" a different one than the Montauk or any Black and Blue/Munich boots?

If so can someone kindly up it to We Transfer again?

(My computer has an inexplicable grudge with Mega an refuses any kind of connection).

Thanks,

J

Thanks for the heads up, it was a great listen indeed on my morning walk but it is in fact "I can't see nobody" from the "High Temperature" boot. Still it was nice getting to hear it again! I also found out that it sounds very close to Gregory Issaacs' "If I don't Have You"...and in due time it became "One Hit (to the Body)".

I've updated the first post with a summary of all the exciting stuff that happened outtakes wise since this thread got started in early December ;-)

With all due respect I think you're wrong...The High Temperature boot only has 2 versions of "I Want Nobody Else" which are not this song...like all of us my collection is a baffling ordeal of thousands and thousands of songs but I find no version of this bkeys track...

"I Can't See Nobody" is a Ron Wood sung track on Mean Lean Hits but this bkeys track is sung by Mick and Keith both

Please elaborate on your post because as I said...finding an exact song can be baffling
