So this is the Pathé Marconi list of the 77/78 sessions:

from the RS archive in Exhibitionism:

Interesting list... There are new songs listed (like "Havana" or "All My Life" ) but the well-known outtakes are not. There's no "I Need You" for example.

And for train spotters it seems that "What Gives You The Right" was indeed started in Paris and not during the L.A.'78 "RCA" sessions.

Thanks for posting the list here, yes a lot of unknown tracks, more stuff to look forward to, possibly...

"Rotten Roll" wasn't that the title of BTMMRun at some point? That would explain it's presence on the cover prototype.

How about "A Different Kind" or "Petrol Blues" then?
Nice tracks that are miles above an abomination like "Disco Music"...

And "BT" = "Broken Toe"? "Brown Smear" is what we know as "Brown Leaves"?

Going to Exhibitionism: later this month are we allowed to take photos ? - Was at David Bowie's at the V&A but not allowed to take photos's. Or should we keep our mobile phones discreet?

16 new titles!!!
Let's analyse this list.
On other threads VideoJames has mentioned Havana could very well be Havana Moon (a Chuck Berry song), because Keith was playing it a lot at the time. Wonderfull is not Jah Wonderfull.
Gone Dead Train is a cover of an old bluessong by ? -Rockman mentioned it somewhere.
BT could be Broken Toe and Shame could be Shame, Shame, Shame (already known from bootleg, a Jimmy Reed song)

ARE YOU READY
ALL MY LIFE
BT
BROWN SMEAR
DISTANT MELODY
GONE DEAD TRAIN
HAVANA
I USED TO BE DOWN
JUST BECAUSE I TOLD YOU
LAST ....(unreadable)........ BLUES
RAMBLING
SHAME
TUESDAY NIGHT
TRAIN SONG
WONDERFUL
WOODY MOTOWN

What we know so far :

"JUST BECAUSE I TOLD YOU" = "I Need You" (see above)
"TRAIN SONG" = "All About You" (see [www.timeisonourside.com])

Just bumped into this : [www.youtube.com]

The remarkable and very rare 20+ minute version of "Keep It Cool" from Bobby Keys own personal library. His original was slightly off speed, here it is pitched-adjusted by Goody and remastered to make it a little bit better. This truly is a gem from the vaults brought to us by the guys at JEMS. A big thank you also to Bobby Keys for releasing “Keep It Cool” from his tapes, we hope there are more to come. And finally I must thank the guys at the JEMS archive for all the work done in producing this this amazing track, thank you guys, Steve

Sounds like someone got creative took the bkeys UserID a bit too literally ?

Just gave the Foxes in the boxes sets another listen after a long time.

Guess the time has come for more gems to be released. What about the BtB sessions or 2002 Danny Saber sessions? Obviously they are out in collectors circles.

This faded out early version of Tie You Up is new to me. I think it has nothing to do with the two long versions issued on several boot cds.

I think this one too, Too Much Blood, very early, 10'17 but still faded out. But I can't check my Cds etc. at the moment

also new & not bootlegged - All The Way Down (new) I very early version

Wanna Hold You with count-in - new/unbootlegged (?)

It wouldn't surprise me, but you saw what it took for the boot labels to rush-release their pro-shots and soundboards of the 1995 club gigs... they threat of an official release. With BtB, there is a slight possibility (in a few years/decades, probably), and my fingers are crossed for the 2002 outtakes.

I didn't know that samples of the rumoured & auctioned March 64 "IBC reel"-tracks As Tears Go By I & II, Congratulations I and a "new" track Nobody Loves You Like I Do (or something like that) exist:

It probably came from the Daily Mail article on which they first appeared, iirc. Fortunately somebody downloaded it, since they're not available on that Daily Mail link anymore. [www.iorr.org]

Looking back on this great list you see that since the great Foxes in the Boxes torrents no further outtakes have released. Here is hope that in 2017 at least some new tracks or better tapes of circulating stuff might get released.

What about the 6 hours of Black and Blue sessions or Bridges to Babylon sessions?

True but how many years between "Foxes in the Boxes" and the previous noteworthy releases ? ;-)

Where did you read about the 6 hours of B&B and B2B sessions ?

Doubt it, that's probably a transfer of the old 90' cassettes apparently recorded by dropping a mic in the RSM's mailbox in Rotterdam in 75 ;-)

There were rumors of B2B sessions floating around as early as 08/97 (rumor used by scammer Hans Mulders out of Holland...) but no one's ever commented publicly on them AFAIK, unlike for the 2002 Paris sessions for which we have some first hand comments.
