A few more details about these 3 releases :
Upgraded "Faraway Eyes / Truck Diver Blues" and "Beast Of Burden falsetto" on "Some More Fast Numbers".

never released on CD before : It's A lie version 2 -stereo-5.23 minutes on "Black and Blue outtakes definitive edition"

A few other upgrades here and there .....

"Emotional Rescue sessions ", is mostly taken from tapes and not copied from other LPs/Cds ...as a proof this uncomplete version of "Summer Romance" only circulating on cassettes and never released on cd before .

I'm pretty sure the incomplete Summer Romance here is just the ending of the count-in version (Summer Romance #4 on CD3 of this set). Also, I think Summer Romance #5 is the same recording as #2 here.

Sorry to disagree but :

Back in 1984 I had a cassette with several versions of "summer romance" and one ( like the one on this Rebel Yell release ) was uncomplete.
then after...around 1986 I think, I've bought a 2 LP untitled " "The Emotional Rescue Sessions", same source as my old cassette but without this uncomplete version of Summer Romance. And it's the same, for all releases of the Emotional Rescue sessions including DAC 108.
So I've all the reasons to believe that this uncomplete version on Rebel Yell's " ER sessions definitive edition" is sourced from tape and not a part of a version already released here and there.

I do not question the origin of the material. It very well may have come from a tape. Circulating tapes can have multiple versions of the same track. I am saying that, if you listen to the incomplete version and compare it to the end of the the count-in version, you will hear the same instruments, same vocals, etc. The speed is slightly different, but it is the same recording. That is why most titles do not included this one.

If you can point out any audible differences, other than flaws or tempo/pitch differences, I may agree with you.

Yes...I said never released on cd, not unreleased. The proof is that I have it on my old cassette, and I've labelled with the same "2" two "summer romance" tracks ...the complete, and the uncomplete. To summarize, the version on this edition is tape sourced and never released on cd.

I think it is misleading to call the last 46 seconds of a track a different version, or unavailable elsewhere. For example, it is the same as the last 46 seconds of track 13 on DAC-108, regardless if it was transferred from tape, CD, LP or where ever it came from for the RYF CD.

If I made a tape of 30 seconds snippets of existing tracks and circulated it, it would not create new or different versions of the tracks, obviously, even if I labeled them all as "incomplete version." It is a tactic to mislead people to think they are getting something rare or different.

You would not want someone to buy your CD under false pretenses would you?

On the other hand, it sounds like RYF was the first to bootleg "it's a lie (version 2)" to my knowledge.

Of course, I don't...it can be discussed on a fan/collectors board but I didn't mention it in the Ebay listing.
