Hello everyone,
Would someone happen to have the Stones' Some Girls 8-track release converted to WAV files for downloading? I understand that some of the tracks have slight variations to the LP/CD formats.

No. I don't believe that it was ever available in the quadraphonic format.

The only Rolling Stones releases in the quadraphonic format that I have heard of was the "Ladies and Gentlemen" soundtrack and maybe a Brussels '73 release.

On this thread I've read this:
- Miss You - longer version than on LP; unavailable elsewhere
- Far Away Eyes - shorter version than on LP; same as single-edit
- Beast Of Burden - longer version than on LP; unavailable elsewhere

I believe that " Imagination " appears on the 8-Track as an edited 4:32 version unavailable elsewhere.

I do not have it and I don't think that it is in circulation in a digital format.

Can anyone confirm or deny this ??

"Imagination" was just faded early to make it fit. The only other 8-track versions I know of are "Cherry Oh Baby" which fades after 3 mins and "No Use In Crying" which was split in two in good old 8-track stylee!
