Post: Concert Archive Directory
Date: August 7, 2014 08:40

Here it is-the Rolling Stones Concert Archive Directory! For now, not all of the Directory threads are posted, so I'll be updating the links as needed. Available links are below, along with credit to any other uploaders/thread-starters! Please check back frequently!

Archiving 55 Years...And Counting

Edit on 12-30-2014: Any threads that have UNDER CONSTRUCTION next to them are available, they just are still having links added. I also am trying to make the layout of the threads more visually pleasing. Every 10 entries, there will be 3 spaces. In an effort to keep the lists short-ish, I will be splitting concerts like the 1981/1982 Thread into two separate threads. Let me know what you think of the layout & changes!

Edit on 2-25-2015: In an effort to fill the gaps in the Archives, I will be posting 'Missing Show' lists next to the directory links. If you do not see a 'Missing Shows' link next to an Archive link, then it is complete. You can feel free to post alternative recordings directly on the Archive page if you wish.

Edit on 5-2-2015: To help you get a general idea on which shows you'd like to download, I've been hunting some of these shows down on YouTube. Next to the show number/location/date, you'll find (YOUTUBE LINK) with a link to the video. PLEASE note that this will take time, just as finishing these lists will, so feel free to cut my workload down by posting links in the appropriate Archive if possible. PLEASE ALSO NOTE that if there is a video available for that date, it may not be the exact title you wish to download-do your homework on DBBOOTS.com. Thanks, and enjoy!

Edit on 6-6-2015: When I was entering notes/new links for some of the entries, I came across some common terms (Soundboard, AUD, etc.) and some odd-ball terms (ALD), so I decided that it would help to have a link to UrbanSteel's IORR thread, "Explanation about Matrix/ALD/IEM/Soundboard " posted, so http://www.iorr.org/talk/read.php?2,1046051,1046482]here's an archived link[/url].

Edit on 7-20-2015: Visit the SOLO STONES TOUR ARCHIVE for...Solo Stones Tour Archives. tongue sticking out smiley

Edit on 8-5-2015: Thanks to exilestones gathering up all of the Wolfgang's Vault releases (considered official) I will be adding them to the list. The downloads are $5, but they're soundboards.

The Rolling Stones Concert Archive Directory just started and already it was a very valuable resource for me!

I remembered that Budokan 2003 had great performances of "Rocks Off" and Everybody Needs Somebody to Love." I went to the directory and not only was there information that I wanted but links to download the audio and video! WOW!

I don't remember it being a rehearsal but I guess it was! Downloading now.

Can't a "sticky" be put on this directory?

Seems important enough.

I promised myself to go through all the concert archives.
Never got to it before.
I noticed the first line;

1. June 16, 1969 - 'The David Frost Show', Wembley, London, UK
-----ENTRIES NEEDED-----

Opened my excellist and found this one;
1969.11.092nd WPOMC 047-2-20900D SBD Hangout, Oakland 9 nov 1969 + 2 tracks David Frost Show

It must be the entry we are looking for.

Will be out all day, but try to sqeeze in an upload.

Thanks for this incredible post.

It would be nice to do it for the studio takes.

a question.

The division into letters (a, b, c, d, ...) indicates the quality of the recording?

"a" is better then "b..a so on?

SO SO SO SO SO SORRY!!! No, the division is simply listing the entries. No ranking.

Hmmm....Not a bad idea...First, I'll finish the 1960s (been putting that off for far too long!) and I'm contemplating adding 2012-2015...Thoughts & feedback, anyone?
