Hi, everybody. I'm from Italy. I've heard about a wonderful Stones Touring Party 1972 7cds boxset. Is it hard to find? Which is a reasonable price to get it? I tried on e-bay but I couldn't find it. Help required. Thanks in advance.

Go to ebay and key in Rolling Stones 1972. The box set was there a few days ago. Don't pay over $50.00 US for it.

I think it would be hard to find it under $100.

Got a copy of it cheap, not the original, but a copy. I won't let the box set with all the books and stuff go for less than $200, but can burn you all 7 disc for
$60 includes postage. Email me at timewaitsforno1@yahoo.com

This is a joke, right?

I thought it was a joke too but I think he is serious. Also his past posts he uses a different email address and different name, Darren and then Daryl.

Sounds fishy to me.

My dear menace,

I gave you the box for your birthday and I spent GRMPPGLYHKIJ more that the lousy 50 bucks you indicate.
So please behave BUDDYBOY!!!!
I have had no time to listen to your obscure suomen blackband but the titles alone already gimme a good feeling.

I hope that Marco will return some obscure positano field recordings from the project of developing MR into the raunchy song it's now.

Sincerely yours,

No, parts of the 7 CD set were actually taking from the 5 VGP set, but when better sources were available these were chosen. Overal, the 7 CD set is better sounding and more complete.

I thought the 8 CD set, Work Sucks Let's Go on Tour, is supposed to be better sounding, better edited and complete though I've not heard either.

the 8 CD set was a trading ring from the RSboots group CDR trading group.
They ommitted 1 error from disc 1 and disc 7 from the original set had often many playing errors (kinda misprint).

The risk with the 8cdr set is that during long way of burning 8 cdrs and weeding out you have high risk that your copy has glitches etc.
The box is a treasure. Go for it !

I've never heard of these sets that you guys are talking about.

What company put out the 7 and 8 disc sets? What are the names of the sets? Are they limited edition?

What IS a reasonable price for it?

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. I have to get this!
