Advice needed on selling a Paris ticket
Posted by: Nate ()

I have one ticket cat 1 for Paris and I may want to sell but I'm wondering as it's an E ticket if I need to print myself or would I leave that to the buyer if I sell?
If anyone knows anything about how I would go about this then info would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Couldn't you just email the .pdf file?

Did whoever you ordered your ticket through, send you an email to print your ticket, with a file attached?

I am not a specialist but indeed be careful, I think that if you print the PDF ticket yourself now, your name will be on it. Not good for your future buyer because you can print the ticket X times...
There is probably a way to sell this ticket with the new name but sorry I don't know how.

Yes, but does the venue ever check the name on the printed ticket? I've never noticed them doing so, and if somebody buys four tickets they will all say "Fred Bloggs" even if it's his wife and daughters who are using them.

I've been told that it is difficult to resell email tickets because the buyer takes the risk that you have sold and emailed the same ticket to ten different buyers, and only the first one to turn up at the venue will actually get in.

Yeah they never check the ID, but to be on the safe side you can have a copy of the original purchaser's ID. Check what the site says, for instance in their FAQ under "can I give my ticket to a friend".

Fact is, they can be copied x-times, especially using a PDF file...so you'll need to find someone who trusts you...as well as someone you trust (not good if your buyer makes X copies and sells them to X people with your name on it...) with only the first one being allowed in. Yeah, the risk is remote and I'm not sure an initial buyer's been in trouble for that before but it's something to keep in mind.
