Thanks for this. Does this require a dual layer dvd? I have not seen a version yet that is a dvd5.

Yes, or download a program that will split a DVD9 into 2 x DVD5s

Aha, didnt know there was such a program! I will google that one tonight when I am home. Thanks for the tip!

Yes, or download a program that will split a DVD9 into 2 x DVD5s

Or, if you don't mind loosing some of the quality of the original, you can use "DVD Rebuilder" (download page) to compress to 1 DVD5.
But remember, most uploaders will not like that, unless it's strictly for your own use and NOT to seed, trade or whatever!!!!

Ok finished this but...I was having problems on Pt 1 from WT ..it was freezing at about 30%...so i tried Mega and all four parts DL'ed OK but when i went to extract the files (I use WINRAR) it said i had an error on PT 1...i can see the main screen and Pt ! song listings but nothing plays...anyone else or am I doing something wrong? I consider myself somewhat competent with these sorts of things But ya never know so any help would be greatly appreciated....

First of all; I don't think that the files from Mega and WT are the same, so don't mix them!
Second; I tried to extract with Winrar and had no problem playing the complete DVD with VLC when finished.

Then I only extracted part 1 and got the menu and could play only a couple of songs.

The only thing I can think of is that you don't have all the rar files in the same folder/map and Winrar can't find the other parts. So try to create a folder/map and put all Mega or WT parts in there (again; NO mix of WT and Mega). Then double click on the first part, winrar should open automatically and then let winrar extract the files to another (empty) map/folder.

I hope this helps.

please people, I suggest not to upload any compressed DVD5 here.
Personal use is ok but we should try to preserve at least some quality at IORR,
so please stick with DVD9 or 2 DVD5.

The raw source is already youtube compressed. Then I had to reencode it for multicam. so another compression step would be a pain in the ass and
kill way too much quality.

sure, I read that. just wanted to add my 2cents, since it is my DVD ;-)

Thanks Chris...and yes I did have them in the same folder...I have redone them (WE) and should know if it works for me when Pt 4 finishes in a bit...thanks again

I have tried unpacking the WT's with various unpackers and the problem is def' with pt4...the total should be 7 gig..it gets to about 6 and a quarter and then the error messages..you are left with only 6 gig.

Thank you very much! I think dvd9 are better,you can buy it for cheap at Amazon,il's the "Platinum"ones.
