Better perfs too... Imo the 1st Paradiso was the best of the 4, the 2nd was very good, but after that the band slipped into what they are very good at since 89 : cruising it. Paris and Brixton suffered from this...
I heard that we will have to wait until end of next week for the delivery of the CDs.
But we waited on this gem since 1995 and knew of it since 1999 so i think one week more or less doesn't matter

Just reporting what my vendor told me he was told by the Rattlesnake label. Here is what he said in his update

I guess something got lost in the translation.
Still seems strange they would hold up the CD versions for a box issue? Why not send out the CD's for people who only want the CD's? Like me LOL.
Something just doesn't add up.

The label would not give him a new release date so we wait.

What pisses me off is the longer it takes to get the cd's out the longer we have to wait for the dvd...this might push it past the first of the year!

Thats not the correct version. The actual box was the victim in all of this. Apparently it came back but bubbles and creases. No doubt you'd be paying a premium for this box and Rattlesnake are not Sony or ABKCO or whoever and this box is of importance to collectors.
It certainly wouldn't befit the label to lose out if a competitor released their version first.

I think the hidden issue is that as soon as the cds go out the recording will instantly be available across torrent sites. No doubt this first pressing is the only pressing. Very cool for those who have purchased it. Stinks for those who purchased cds!

The other thing is as soon as the CD is out there some enterprising soul in the boot world will have a vinyl copy on the streets in two weeks probably before the box problem is sorted out so Mr Rattlesnake will be left with loads of vinyl he may not sell. People don't always go for quality..........some go for the cheapest option.
