All thanks are going to Alex_ander for his work on this DVD and for the gentle share at Dime.
This is what he wrote:
The Rolling Stones - 2013-06-29 - Glastonbury - 2DVD (PAL) - "GLA-STONE-BURY!"
The Rolling Stones
Glastonbury Festival
Worthy Farm, Pilton
Somerset, UK
29th June 2013
Contrast clause. There is a similar 2-disk version of the show on tracker: [
www.dimeadozen.org]
The version here differs in the following:
(mainly)
1.Offers sufficient audio upgrade to DVD2 - considering that the video-sourced audio track is mediocre, despite its relatively high bitrate. BBC-broadcasted FM audio is carefully synched here to uncut video for the second half of the show.
(in addition)
2. A trusted encoder type was used here; with settings, optimized for each DVD, e.g. multi-pass encoding where necessary (details below)
3. Measures have been taken for frame indexing (completely prevents drops/repeats etc.at encoding)
4. Muxing performed with TDA 1.6 (the last TMPG tool without internal encoder), TAW4 used for menu only - to prevent, while authoring, any local re-encoding of already encoded material (like some long GOP, unexpectedly found by internal encoder etc.) which cannot be turned off;
e.g. the least evil known is that TAW4 always re-encodes the very last GOP (like 15 frames).

I. Sources
Video (thanks to all who brought it to Dime): Pyramid Stage Satellite Feed > TBS6922 dvb-s2 pci card > ProgDVB Pro > .ts file (50000kbps MPEG-2 PAL 25fps, 16:9 720x576, 4:2:2 color space, audio MPEG1 Layer 2, 256kbps)
It can be found here: [

Audio for DVD1: unmodified track, demuxed from the video above
Audio for DVD2: FM capture of the BBC live broadcast (Dime torrent - thanks to JTT),

unsufficient patches made from previous source*:
a) between tracks 4-5 - no music, 7s long;
b) the only patch in music material: choir intro to You Can't Always Ger What You want, half a minute or so;
c) no music - the final audience noise (2 min with band members on stage + 2 minutes of zoomed out stage)
* left untouched the very short BBC 'strong language' warning after Midnight Rambler
II. Transfer details (Alex_ander): ts.file -> DGIndex -> Avisynth -> CCE (4-pass for DVD2) -> MVW (audio sync jobs) - TDA 1.6 (muxing/chaptering) -> TAW4 (menu only) -> DVDRemake (menu + video)
Audio for DVD2 resampled in 64-bit environment of Soundforge 10.
