Adding to the bravado, why does Leeds have such a smacked-out level of energy? That whole tour sounds like Europe '73's staleness x10.

Good summary of the '71 tour recordings. Too bad more haven't surfaced.
Just curious why you want "Let It Rock" from a bootleg source when it's available officially, in stereo no less.

Sadly, of the 4 circulation 71 shows, none of them are perfect:
Leeds has great sound quality but the band sound tired.
Coventry is a very poor recording, very hard to listen to.
The Marquee show is mostly a shambles but is still fun to watch on DVD.
The Roundhouse show is the best of the bunch by far, but sadly it's only a mono audience recording. Still my favourite document of this tour though.
I would've loved it if the Roundhouse show was one of the 6 official bootlegs, but sadly it was not to be.

I just want the whole thing from the same master source.
It would sound a bit jarring to have the whole thing in mono only to have the last song change to stereo, or even mono from a lesser source.
I also prefer the power of the mono mix, it has balls.

You're right, the mono mix has balls!
Both TSP CD versions of Get You Leeds Lungs Out are directly mastered from a reel-to-reel copy of the original BBC master, the second version Get Your Leeds Lungs Out Revisited even in 24-bit. The version that was uploaded on Dime was at least one generation higher - BBC Master reel>reel-to-reel>DAT or reel-to-reel or cassette tape.
