Re the Detroit show : it might know a 3rd incarnation (after #068 an #171) if DAC decides to use the other audience tape (known as "JEMS 1st gen") to patch the incomplete SB. It might be a good idea as it's notably better than the one they used for #171.
"JEMS 1st gen" runs too slow, though...

So the DAC-171 is a sbd/aud mix, right?

Yes. They did the same with the other "partially-soundboard-shows" Lexington, Memphis and Houston (Handsome Girls Lexington, Hound Dog, Handsome Girls Houston).

Yeah they collected all the "board" tracks and made a complete show with the audience tape that was shared here (RDP-RS031). The result is very nice, unfortunately for DAC the JEMS crew just shared an alt. audience tape of the Detroit show that sounds better than the one DAC used for #171.
Anyway there's no big loss as (imho) Detroit was a rather tepid gig... Otoh I really look forward to DAC-178 as Lexington was an insanely good gig (imho again).

They have noticed the problem and used Tumbling Dice from the new Detroit audience tape as bonus track on their 175 Memphis edition. But I don't think they will release the entire new tape. Their subscribers could feel fooled. Maybe Tarantura or the "no label-label"?

Hm, I can see a day in the future where all these DACs (> 171) may show up here... But it takes some patience.

Thanks for DAC-174 and 175!

My download (on my 200Mbps connection) from Workupload went slower than the one from WT:
Workupload: between 3.3 and 4.1 Mbps
WT: between 9.7 and 11.3 Mbps

So Workupload is perfect for the job, especially the 180 days minimum that the files stay up is a huge improvement over WT.
(And I'm not going to start about the frustrating downloads from Filefactory for people who don't have a premium account!)

"JEMS 1st gen" runs too slow, though...

They (...) used Tumbling Dice from the new Detroit audience tape as bonus track on their 175 Memphis edition.

What's funny/puzzling is DAC didn't use the new JEMS tape for "Dice", They used another version of the so-so audience tape they previously used for DAC-171.
As an aside I did an A/B comparison of the Detroit "Dice" (DAC-175 vs the "JEMS 1st gen" torrent) and indeed the JEMS tape runs much too slow.

Anyway back to topic. Another big thx to Midnrambler : X-mas is today! smileys with beer

Thanks, many thanks for these last DAC'sspinning smiley sticking its tongue outthumbs up

The only one I missed is yet DAC 141 1981.12.13 Phoenix 1981, Lets Spend The Night Together. Ik know this one is not available here because of official content.

However I've several recordings from this show, it's nice to have the DAC complete.

So If someone have a PM link I would be very grateful.

Herman
