Hate to beat a dead horse here but does anyone have MB's Rod Stewart "Every Pic Tell A Story"? by all accounts I've read/heard it is a MB project...he did a great job on Zep iv!

Anybody else having problems with ''1975.07.13 LA Sunday [no art]'' cd1 track 13 IORR? There are a lot of errors at the end of the song. Is there a good copy of that song and if there is could somebody be so kind to post it please?

I like the way MB restructured the LP line-up like he did with "Satanic". These two along with "Goats" are may favorites..

The 'concert series' remasters were like the second half of the Mickboy era.
Had a contact in the community that was getting all these raw tapes when the Stones started Touring en mass and would send me these 2 or 3 at a time.
They were a lot easier to 'remaster' because the quality of the recordings were pretty consistent throughout the whole tape.
So what was done was to go into about 15 minutes of the show, when the soundman had time to get the pa balanced, I'd do the eq to make it sound as good as it could be and then it was mastered onto MD for CD duplication.
I didn't even keep count of how many there was, A LOT of them.

Again, this was on the backside of the era and had fun doing it for all to enjoy.

An no, I can't recall ever NOT including a song for any reason...ie JJF. There would be no reason for me to exclude that, I put out what I got......

The ONLY 'trick' I DID do and nobody caught it, and I can't even remember what title it was on, but I snuck in a live version of Under My Thumb as the last song. It was my band with me playing drums and singing lead on it. Actually I'm very proud of that song, we pulled it off well.

And one more thing before I go back into retirement, for all those out there with the Mickboy cd's that have become unplayable.........it's due to the paper labels used back in the day before laser printing. The glue becomes unstable after the disc warms up playing in the player.
So the easy fix is this. Lighter Fluid. Label side up, dowse the label with LF, let it sink in for 45 seconds and then using tweezers lift the label off and clean the top of the cd with lighter fluid and toilet paper so there is no residue.
Unfortunately no more label, but the disc should now play flawlessly.
I actually didn't find this out until decades later when all of the sudden I'd be playing a remaster cd and 30 min into it, it would just throw up and stutter before the player said F This! LOL........
