Thanks for the upload, Keessie.

the sound for the Nicky Hokpins outtakes is so badly EQ'ed, it's IMPOSSIBLE to listen. A real shame. Are the DAC people deaf ?

same songs are in far better quality on the Red Tongue Box.

They sounded fine when they stole them from us.
The Nicky outtakes here and on the red tongue box are from a torrent upped by midnrambler at Hungercity, and originate from my YouTube recording so they are all lossy. But it sounds like DAC tried to rework what we reworked...the Red Tongue box even used the titles I put on the original rip!

Yes, MunichHilton, I know that Red Tongue used the tapes extracted from youtube by IORR members, I just said the sound on the Red Tongue release is better than the over EQ'ed release by DAC.

Not extracted by IORR members. Extracted by ME. And the reason they sound fantastic compared to the DAC is because of midnramblers outstanding and very time consuming rework of it. Glad you enjoyed it.

Didn't mean to offend you.

Don't worry, I don't feel offended, that's just a discussion about songs and sound quality.

I couldn't remember who exactly extrated the song, I just remembered it was somebody from IORR.

I also extracted the songs from the FLV files, and had big problems especially with Rocks Off, I didn't understood why the FLV files have no crackles/clipping sounds, while the extracted files were full of these parasites. it took me ages to get rid of all the clippings.

then I bought the Red Tongue release, the box is a shame, but the Nicky Hopkins songs were OK, and today I downloaded the DAC-123, I checked everything and found DAC-123 horrible. just horrible.

In the past, I uploaded a few things on Hunger City, they ended on DAC with downgraded sound, so I'll never upload anything.

Don't stop uploading!!!!
You let them win when you stop
Think of the great things in the last few months that have been shared!!!

As the Stones say, "Don't Stop"

finally...a use for that wretched song.

"In the past, I uploaded a few things on Hunger City, they ended on DAC with downgraded sound, so I'll never upload anything"

I think it's time to share again because imho the bootleg market is semi-dead... apart from Japan (maybe).
So "chances" that you get ripped off for being generous with the Stones community are possibly gone. thumbs up
