A little story from the taper himself :

"This was the "No Security" tour which I took a little too literal and got caught with my gear going in on the second night. I was offered the opportunity to turn in my gear and enjoy the show, or be escorted from the venue.

I turned in my gear, then went to a restaurant on the main concourse that shared an entrance with the street. So if you went in from the venue side, you showed them your ticket and they stamped your hand. Then you could enter back into the venue, but since you'd had to have come in to the venue through security, they did not check patrons for recording gear, etc.

So, I went to the place, got my hand stamped, then back to get my gear, was escorted out of the venue, then back on the street side to the restaurant, entered, no security of course, then back into the venue with my stub and hand stamp. Whew!"

  They should publish a book on how the Tapers made the pirate recordings !!!

BTW,does anyone remember,has these been before on dime? I tested my cdr´s and they most likely are not VGP`s...maybe about 10 years ago?

No, it has not been up on Dime before ..

Because mine are not VGP´s and i got them from dime(thats how i remember)about 10 years ago,sound is exellent on both ones.I think i should share them here,so we can be sure.If mine are different from VGP and this new one,then we have 3 sources for both shows.

Thanks. They were on fire on both nights in DC. I saw the second night from the 22nd row, the closest I've been in the 26 Stones shows I've seen.

Haven't missed a DC area Stones show since the second night at RFK in '89 (2xRFK '94, JKCooke '97, 2xMCI '99, FedEx '02, Verizon '05, Baltimore '06, Verizon '13, and FedEx '19).
