Wondering there are any sound bytes from this latest release? Looks very exciting.

I really look forward to get to hear this one, too, great show. I was even considering purchasing the silvers a couple of days ago, even....but my silverboot days are over.
Hope it'll show up somewhere, but it can't be DIME, because of Real Live

Now that was terrific, thanks. Did it run a little fast perhaps? Surely terrific sounding anyway

Thank you for the sample. Cheers!

Sample sounds good, but runs faster than LB-07253 and much faster than LB-10824.
It is a different source too.

Can you please tell the title and label of the bootleg?

Right, fast, indeed - and different from previous sources
Great with new stuff that's not taken from freely shared torrents; but why couldn't they fix the speed first? That's not a difficult task

Why no pictures of Mick Taylor on the package. This is an outrage!

For whatever reason, the sample has been speeded up!!
The bootleg runs nearly at the same speed as LB-07253.

Are you sure? To me the sample of AATW follows the classic B A G chord progression = it's kosher (imho).

AATW runs slower on the bootleg, that's what I'm sure of!

Wonderful bootleg, thanks for the tip and everything, Rank Stranger
I've just started listening to it. Finally a complete 1984 show in SBD quality.

Of course I and we have one of the Rome 1984 shows in SBD, allready. But you can't hear Taylor there, only Dylan's guitar.....and he's playing quite awful at times, especially when he's on acoustic. Probably taken from Bob's stage monitor
Probably because Taylor's amp was so incredible loud (on stage) , that Dylan couldn't hear his own playing. Some times it sounds like Dylan is trying his very best to cut off the strings with his plectrum......I think I recall Just Like A Woman being one of the best examples.

So this is a treat, sound and performance is superb - by 1984 standards

....btw, Just Like A Woman is quite awful here as well, but at least one can hear the rest of the band, as well. It really didn't work in 1984. .....just speaking of that one song, that is
Been listening to Hard To Handle as well as the Sydney 02/24/86 show the last days, and what a fine version that is, probably my favourite, strange that it was oh so terrific in Sydney, very different from many of the US shows that followed

Yes indeed, I would say he was "trying to hard" in 1984 just like in 1974. But it still has some great moments, this "rock sound" suited for instance Ballad of A Thin Man, License To Kill and Tombstone Blues. But it all comes down to what one is comparing the tour with, doesn't it? It's a little straining and emotionless tour compared to let's say 1976 and 1978. But it's a tour de force compared to 1986 (except Hard To Handle and some other Australian shows), the Dead tour 1987 and the first half of the 90s, and so on. But it's all subjective......
Taylor's playing, on the other hand, couldn't been better - keeping in mind that it's the mid 80s and somewhat slick arrangements in the first place

Is this available as a download?

This was my first Dylan show and I was pleased to get the What's Real boot a few years ago - a big upgrade on my previous recording.

BTW The Times They Are A-Changing was not the last song (as shown on the cover), this was performed after Senor and followed by Blowing In The Wind and Knocking On Heaven’s Door, which were the second encore.

There was a mic failure on Bob's vocal during It's All Over Now, Baby Blue, so it appeared like Van Morrison took all the lead vocal. I would be interested to know if Bob's co-vocal came out on the soundboard.

You can barely hear him in the background

You can find it at Expecting Rain message board, and on Electric Ladyland

Thanks Erik.

I would like to get a copy of this or a download.

I read the Collectors Music review which has had the benefit of a detailed listen, noting the errors, alleged lack of rehearsals, etc. I did not notice any of this at the time. This was a great show and you had to be there.
