"Although both these shows have been previously released they are long, long out of print. These two discs represent both complete shows aired by KBFH on September 29, 1974 and November 24, 1974. Taken directly from the masters, "Heading for an Overload" also features for the first time ever - the Dudley Moore - Peter Cooke interview with Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts"

The Brussels show is arguably one of the best Rolling Stones shows ever recorded, which is to say it's one of the best concerts in the history of rock n' roll. Mick Taylor, 'nuff said: Ripped with EAC from my original silvers. This one is a must.

Thanks for sharing. Inspired by the new official Brussels download, I've been listening to the various Brussels radio broadcasts. I hadn't heard this one for a long time.

I've had this set on cd[and still do]for years.

I purchased it, in 1997-1998, for 250 french francs ... therefore long before the euro was launched.
The sound is very specific.

This is a nostalgic old CD. Bought it in San Diego a long time ago.
Always liked the replica Ya Yas cover idea.

It's great...from original KBFH tapes...sounds very natural - unlike many later and often heavily processed releases of this material. A must-have!

Plus, I love the sequence of the good old European Tour 1973/Rock Out - Cock Out and Bedspring Symphony vinyls.

You're right, one disc is from a reel to reel transcription tape that went out to radio stations and the other disc is from radio transcription LPs. There were two broadcasts from the same source with slightly different song content and line-ups.
