POST: Frankenstein production n°29 - 06th September 1970 - Gothenburg (mix of two sources)
Happy New Year to all the Stones freaks!
What's better to start this new year than a new Frankenstein production?
............................................
« The Stars In The Eyes… They Never Lie ! »
06th September 1970
GOTHENBURG (Liseberg Amusementpark)
For this show I got the VGP version (VGP105) and another one called « Gothenburg’70 »
I found on the Vault 4 tracks coming from the same source but in better quality (see infos) but way too slowly. After some test using the VGP as reference I founded that it needs a correction of + 4, 975%.
I decided to make a new mix using the VGP tracks, adding a little more treble (cf. the infos in the doc sheet for the detail) and these 4 tracks.
Before the show I decided to add the funny Jagger’s interview for the Finnish television (Yle), MJ was very upset about Finnish customs drug raid.
So this is a complete mix, a real Frankenstein’s production (the number 29!).
About the title: I found this picture from Keith with a star reflecting in his sunglasses, so I made a little twinkle to a well know bootleg title….
I also deleted a little gap a 2’05 in « You Gotta Move »
Note that these 4 tracks are in lossless format in contrary from the VGP 105 that are on lossy format.
Here the Tracklist and modifications:
01 - Mick Jagger interview at Helsinki’s Airport (YouTube)
02 - Jumping Jack Flash (the first seconds amplified)
03 - Roll Over Beethoven
04 - Sympathy For The Devil (the 25 last seconds from *)
05 - Stray Cat Blues (*)
06 - Love In Vain (*)
07 - Prodigal Son (*)
08 - You Gotta Move (*) a little gap deleted at 2’05, the 25 last seconds coming from VGP
09 - Dead Flowers
10 - Midnight Rambler
11 - Live With Me
12 - Let It Rock (cut at 1’51)
13 - Little Queenie
14 - Brown Sugar
15 - Honky Tonk Women (incomplete)
(*) from the 4 tracks version, the other from VGP 105 with treble addition
As usual all the infos are taken from The Rolling Stones Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf [
