“The Rocket 88 Story: 1978 - 1985” feat. Ian Stewart, Charlie Watts
and many more.

This is a series of shows provided by nzb to present the story of Rocket 88 - the side project of Ian 'Stu' Stewart and Charlie Watts.
Thanks very much to nzb that provided us his recordings, to Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who gave critic and advise regarding my work and to my friend Riccardo (MrNo) who participated to a big part of my collection.

Volume 04: Rocket 88
30th December 1979 - London, Dingwalls, ‘50th Birthday Of Boogie Woogie’

Line-up: STU (p)/Alexis Korner (gtr, voc)/Pete York (dr)/Bob Hall (p)/George Green (p)/Dick Morrissey (sax)/John Picard (tb)/Don Weller (sax)/Colin Smith (tp)/Jack Bruce (bass) and on some songs also with CW on drums.

Tracklist:
01- Barrelhouse Boogie (Albert Ammons/Pete Johnson)
02 - Boogie Woogie Man From Tennessee (Troy Seals)/Band introduction
03 - Roadhouse Boogie (Pete Johnson)
04 - St. Louis Blues (William C. Handy)
05 - Swindon Swing (Colin Smith)
06 - Who’s Gonna Be Your Sweet Man When I’m Gone (McKinley Morganfield)
07 - Boogie (Colin Smith)
08 - Boogie Drive (Colin Smith)
09 - Crying Mother Blues (Red Nelson)

(infos taken from The Rolling Stones Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf
[nzentgraf.de] ).
I didn't do not much here - only a little sound amplification from 2db (first tracks) until 3,5db (last tracks). I also deleted a default in the beginning of track 9 and I upgraded the beginning and end of the cd-r.

as nzb wrote to me...
" He says "we gonna do another Colin Smith-composition, this time from the album The Greatest Hits Of Colin Smith, this is called Boogie ...". The Greatest Hits album-title is just a joke, as there aren't any Colin Smith-releases. I understand something like Boogie Rip Off, maybe Boogie F Off (as short and/or polite for Boogie @#$%& Off, which would be a great ironic title). Maybe some native english speaker could make the words out. I can only guess.

"......
so native english speackers we're waiting for your help!
