I know ya'll probably think I'm beating a dead horse and it really doesnt matter(I'm just a stickler for detail) but I still wonder if its a marketing thing or just the fact that they dont know but it was NOT 10000+ plus fans. Will Rogers Mem Aud only has a capacity of a little over 2800. I know, I was there. Thats also why it was such a thrill to go to the concert and it was such a hard tkt..by the way the show was billed as "The London Green Shoed Cowboys"!

I think it's perfectly reasonable that you make this point. But imagine the writing in the promo screaming out "2,800 fans !!!" Pretty good for a Scottish 3rd division football match, but for a Stones concert in the State where everything's big, especially one they're trying to flog on DVD? It'd look kinda like a muscle man with a tiny ****. Suppose they were always going to fiddle with numbers. In history, things often seem bigger than they really were. Reminds me of the saying "the older I get, the better I was". Similar logic here.

The picture at [www.fwculture.com] shows an open 'pitch' area with the seating stated as 2856. If the 'pitch' area was full with standing punters, I imagine the capacity would be at least doubled.

Well, actually the Will Rogers Memorial Center has two facilities-that picture is of the Will Rogers Colliseum

Well I got confused about the auditorium or the coliseum, so I popped over to the fort worth govt website and found these one is a complete layout of the auditorium and the other a layout of the precinct/center. Can't wait for this release.

I was in SecRB1 Row A Seat 4..according to IORR(Karnbach and Beanson) The Stones also played there the afternoon of Nov 21, 1965 and later that day in Dallas.

Wow, that's a kickass seat. I believe I'd take that over the floor front row.

All tkts were $10(if you were lucky enough to be in the right place when they announced-they were only sold at one location!) I paid a scalper $100 and I still think it was the deal of a lifetime!!
