Technical question concerning DVD burning (DVDFab and Bigasoft Total Video Converter)

Hi gang,

I downloaded the Columbus show from ZOMB.
The torrent were 20 something MOV files.

I converted these MOV files, using Bigasoft Total Video Converter and then made 2 DVD5 discs using DVDFab.

Works nice, but I have this milisecond gap between tracks. Is there a way to get rid of those?

Or should I try to make the DVD directly from the MOV files, or whatever???
(or maybe use other software?)

Thanks in advance for all help!

.

Hi Chris ,

you have to use a DVD authoring program in which you can merge two (or more) individual tracks.
I'm using TMPGEnc DVD Authoring Works. But this program isn't for free you can buy it for 100 $ ( [www.pegasys-inc.com] ).

TMPGEnc DVD Authoring Works converts the mov files (or other) to DVD.
You can merge all the mov files into one track to have no gaps. Then you can devide this track in several chapters.
Also you can synchronize video & audio.

I don't know the programs you use.

Yes, just what Holger said thumbs up

I use their Mastering Works as well.
They are both the sort of software that is easy to use, but also flexible and versatile enough to be able to "grow into" and do almost anything you want with. Not only that but they are good quality.

You might find cheaper alternatives, but personally I think TMPGEnc are well worth the price.

I started working with it, but of course still lots to learn.
One good thing I already discovered is that this annoying millisecond gap between tracks is gone.

Looks to be indeed a very good tool to work on DVD's.

So thanks for the info, much appreciated!
