There's approximately 17 Dirty Work outtakes in cicrulation that are not included on this or previous DAC releases. I'm sure they'll be out on a new DAC release in the near future.

Yeah i absolutely agree,those outtakes never sounded better.And i also think the reason is because it`s closer to the master tape.No remastering can clean this like that.This is what i think is generally happening,DAC on the new releases are getting closer to the original source tapes.I have found some nice upgrades for a future "Sure The One You Need".Thanks again midnrambler,this is what we need to make this place more interesting.

Thx a bunch! I got rid of my old OBR title eons ago so this will be a welcome time trip! And imho the DW session tapes are far more interesting than the final product.

I listen to it with headphones and I think the overall sound is a quite "hot". Listen to "Too Rude" : there's some serious distortion here. My guess is DAC couldn't help but boost/amplify the levels of the tape during mastering to add muscle to it. Iirc (been about 8 years) the OBR cd sounded a bit clearer... but it did run a bit too fast. The DAC is dead-on pitch-wise, so all in all it's the one to get.
And listen to the new W.U. I... Outstanding! Bill Wyman we miss you!

Cd2 is to my ears a BIG improvement over the old cd versions (okay the music still sucks!). In fact I'm starting to believe it exists in the same near-pro quality as the rest of the material from 1985. We only have to wait for 10 more yars to see it leaked/released!
