well you never know ;-)
midimannz recording (almost) didn´t have any music in the high frequenzies, just hiss, so after dehissing a pretty "dark" recording is left. you can´t improve the
mix with equalizing if there is nothing to equalize in those frequencies. but hey, it´s a historic treasure and you can listen to it, so I´m happy with it.
and we´re used to much worse recordings from this era.

Was it determined that "All Meat Music" (VGP-055) was of better quality than the master tapes, which I believe were torrented on thetradersden in March of 2009?

HTW wasn't performed in LA and in Hawaii; it seems it wasn't played on the first gigs of the New Zealand/Australia tour either.
By the way, they did play this on the 72 US tour only on a few dates also.

I have the master of 'source 1' - it was me who circulated it in 1994/95.

the last 3 songs weren't recorded by the taper.

There have been some bootlegs which have claimed (falsely) to contain the full show, but have used the extra 3 songs from a different concert.

Not sure if this is one of them, but its possible as as far as I know, no complete recording of this show ever seems to have circulated from a single source.

Thanks, Vancouver! Your comment about Taylor being more audible makes a standalone, separately tracked version a lot more interesting.
