Anybody else having problems with HungerCity at the moment? Cant connect to the tracker, the website is also unreachable since yesterday. Whats going on?

Hi, yes it's down - we don't know the reason why, Shareef is working on it right now.

Not funny, but just yesterday I explained to a Dylan fan there were lots of downloads to grab. Wonder how hard he is trying to get connected.

Hi, solving the problems takes longer time than we thought it would at first, but Hungercity WILL be back.....can't say exactly when though.

Imho Bob Dylan's the culprit for HC's demise and here's how :
The Zim's not on tour at the moment, so he's got plenty of free time on his hands. With he money from the Fall 2010 he finally bought this thing everybody told him about... yes a computer! And he also got a subscription to this "brand" new thing everybody marvels about... yes the INTERNET!

Good old Bob then discovered there are PLENTY of his shows available for free thru HC or Dime. Mad with anger he decided to put HC down with a Trojan. Dime is next.

Please Bob spare Zomb! They don't even know you exist there... THEY'RE TOO YOUNG.

Strange that you mention Bob as I just yesterday discovered that Bob torrents are not allowed anymore on Zomb and I was wondering what went went on...what led Zomb to ban all Dylan torrents while there were still plenty of them on HC and other trackers?

Well the story started at Dime : Bob was banned there (big loss). But a few days later he was reintroduced in the "okay to torrent" list of artists. So I made up this lil' story of a uber-reclusive Zim discovering in 2010 both computers and the Internet... and finding that (oh horror!) that ppl trade his shows for free.

Hi Alimente, there are some techincal issues - so we're getting a new server or something, I really don't know anything much about technical stuff; but anyway . me too hope it'll be fixed before christmas.
"Middle of this week" was the last I've heard about when it'll be back online again; but you never know.

Well I did recieve some news today - the problems are solved for HC. All we need now is to do *the final fix*....can't go into details, I'm afraid - but it can't take *that* much longer now.

Shareef said not enough donations for the server bill,
means he will close the site. Hopefully temporarily.

I donated 20 USD just before it went down. Spose I've lost that then.

don`t think so, the web server is already running again so why should he work on it
if he doesn`t plan to get it online again.
