Imho DAC's numbering method on this CD is partly bogus : their "Black Limousine II" could very well be in fact "Black Limousine III"

it probbal does because OBR-305 was a vinyl-only release. All the cd versions of this one were "pirate", and sourced from vinyl.

Not a crack and pop on the DAC...

Wrong! Or is the original OBR CD (OBR 305-CD-023) that I see here in front of me just a Fata Morgana? I don't think so, it looks very real to me! And it is an original OBR, not a copy.

yes yes you're right MR. It was released in 1994. I never bothered to order it from THE SOURCE btw.
(I might put it on my want-list now, since one of my friend got one of these original "Results" OBR's for 25€...)

I remember I paid many years ago 500 DM (250 €) for the complete set of all OBR CDs (no vinyl, only the CDs). A collector was selling his CDs and it was a LOT of money for me back then... But I did it.

And do you agree that most of them were not very good...? (Hawai'73 incomplete, Toronto'75 high-gen, that Aussie'73 tape fair/good only, the "Results" material from a dodgy source etc)

Yes I definitively agree. But nevertheless they were always considered as "very rare" and expensive.

You're lucky to have all of them. €250 doesn't seem much for it today.

The speed of my CD seems OK to me. Doesn't your record player have a "pitch control", so you can adjust the speed a little?

EDIT: I don't know, but some songs on my CD seem indeed a bit slow, e.g. the "One Hit" instrumental version.

Yeah, fortunately I have pitch control, otherwise the record would be unlistenable.

It's a bit strange if they adjusted the pitch for the CD but not the vinyl.

I have the vinyl versions of many releases, i paid 30 DM for Paris results, and now i saw on a collectors mark 90 euros last year
