Thanks for this show which I am missing - is it Landover though?
Sorry my American geography is not great and didn't realise Landover is Washington.
From what I've been able to work out it looks like this; Landover Hills is a suburb of Washington D.C. - about 10 miles North-East of the centre - much the same as Wembley is a suburb of London, Mick Jagger might say welcome to Wembley or equally welcome to London - both of which I've heard him say at Wembley...N.B for those not familiar with London either, Wembley is the name of the stadium and the place where the stadium is built. Obviously the suburb of Wembley came first...Hope that helps, EddieByword. P.S. Largo which is also classed in some accounts of the '75 but especially the '81 tour as Washington is also a suburb of Washington but is about 10 miles due West......Boston also (as you might know) often interchanges with Foxboro and Mick once said "Welcome, San Francisco" when performing in Oakland which is of course is just 8 miles away across the water of San Francisco bay...Quote

Living Down Under, I'm a bit hazy on this as well. Mick mentions Washington D.C. right after IORR, but wiki states Landover as the location.

We are talking about the correct venue though. Just scroll halfway down & the first entry under "Other notable events include:" is
* October 23, 1997 - The Rolling Stones performed during their Bridges To Babylon Tour.
Maybe someone from that neck of the woods could explain it all a bit better.
