I downloaded a few ones, it's from Gimme Shelter soundtrack, the official GYYYO, the Nov 27th show etc, but in poor quality and with speed problems
Listen to SFTD....sounds like Mickey Mouse's band

I do not believe there is any source extant for this show.

Well, I'm at work, but of course some of the songs from this show ARE on Gimme Shelter (JJF) and Ya Ya's (Carol, Sympathy, maybe Stray Cat Blues and Little Queenie.) Erik, do you think this boot has the same soundboard recordings with overdubs, etc, but just rougher and too fast?

Yes I know, but the overdubs from the Gimme Shelter movie is included...like the talk before JJFlash.

Yes, a bad transfer of the usual soundboard source, I'm Free/UnderMyThumb from Nov27th in audience quality, I didn't bother to check more than 4 songs, it's a poor compilation, and not the show it claims to be.
Well, that's pretty obvious...as no audience sources is in circulation of this show.

Thanks, Erik, for enlightening us, and thanks again to THE BOOTLEGMAN for his awesome work on this tour. Personally, I've never heard the boot of the 2nd show, so I'll look forward to that one...

Hello there

The first show on November 28, 1969 at MSG
is a real mess so let's do the point:

Here is the setlist and the available tracks:

01 - Jumpin' jack flash
Available on @#$%& yer ya ya's out (VGP)
02 - Carol
Available on time trip Vol.4
Available on official get yer ya-ya's out with overdubs
03 - Sympathy for the devil
Available on @#$%& yer ya ya's out (VGP) with 2nd verse missing
Available on official get yer ya-ya's out with 3rd verse missing
04 - Stray cat blues
Available on official get yer ya-ya's out with overdubs. I don't
agree with Chris M who claims that this one comes from Baltimore
05 - Love in vain
06 - Prodigal son
07 - You gotta move
08 - Under my thumb / I'm free (medley)
09 - Midnight rambler
10 - Live with me
11 - Little queenie
Available on devil's disciple (VGP) without overdubs
Available on official get yer ya-ya's out with overdubs
12 - Satisfaction
A part of this track is available in the gimme shelter movie
but the other part comes from the 2nd show (what a mess!)
13 - Honky tonk women
14 - Street fighting man
Available on shot of salvation without Keith vocals
Available on official get yer ya-ya's out with overdubbed Keith vocals

It looks that all other tracks are not in circulation but this show
was taped by the Mayles Brothers for the Gimme shelter movie.
So where is this tape ? Probably somewhere in a vault...

Another point concerning the 1969 Ed Sullivan Show:
This one was taped on November 18 at CBS Television City Studio Complex
in Los Angeles and not in New York City...
The Stones flew back in California on November 17 (the day after
the shows in Chicago) and come back on the East coast on November 24
for the show in Detroit...

About the 1969 shows in Chicago: they done two shows in this town
on November 16 and a tape is surfaced. I have none idea if this
tape comes from the 1st or 2nd show. Does anybody knows ?

At last about Detroit: There are some sources who said that there
was two shows on this date but I don't think it's true. Was someone
there at the Olympia Stadium at this date ?

Hope this will help - Any comments most welcome
Francky

Vox12string: the show is on boot "NYC you talk a lot"
Francky: Thanks for your information. My post is all I have, and I´m interesting in another different versions from this show. About your questions, yes, there were 2 shows at the same day; I think my post is from the second show, but not sure.

Wasn't most of the official GYYYO taken from the 1st show on the Nov.28?
According to Rocks Off 4 tracks from this show appear on the official release.
Carol, SFTD, Little Queenie, and SFM.

Tracks JJF, and HTW are from Nov.27th show on GYYYO.

More Info:

The performances captured for this release were recorded on November 27 – 28 November 1969 at New York City's Madison Square Garden, while "Love in Vain" was recorded in Baltimore on 26 November 1969. Overdubbing was undertaken during January and February 1970 in London's Olympic Studios. Contrary to popular belief, no instruments were overdubbed, although on bootlegs, examples are known of Keith Richards trying out different guitar parts (e.g. a guitar solo on "Jumpin' Jack Flash"). The finished product featured new lead vocals on half the tracks, and added backing vocals by Keith Richards on several other.

Some of the performances, as well as the photography session for the album cover featuring Charlie Watts and a donkey are depicted in the documentary film Gimme Shelter, and shows Jagger and Watts on an Alabama road in early December 1969 posing with the donkey. The actual cover photo however was taken in early February 1970 in London, and does not originate from the 1969 session. The photo, featuring Watts with guitars and binoculars hanging from the neck of a donkey, was inspired by the lyrics to Bob Dylan's "Visions of Johanna" (although these lyrics refer to a mule).

'Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!' The Rolling Stones in Concert was released in September 1970 - well into the sessions for their next studio album, Sticky Fingers, and was very well-received critically and commercially, reaching #1 in the UK and #6 in the US where it went platinum. Except for compilations, it was the last Rolling Stones album released through Decca Records in the UK and London Records in the US before launching their own Rolling Stones Records label.

The title of the album was adapted from the song "Get Yer Yas Yas Out" by Blind Boy Fuller in which "yas yas" is a euphemism for "ass". The phrase used in Fuller's song was "get your yas yas out the door".

In August 2002, 'Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!' The Rolling Stones in Concert was reissued in a new remastered album and SACD digipak by ABKCO Records.
