Rattlesnake RS 025/26/27/28 ?

Soundboard and audience recordings ?
The sound-quality is not that perfect apart from disc 3 ,if I am not mistaken .

Some other reviews & advices would be welcome !

I have it.
Clever and nice compilation of all the soundboard circulating trax and rarely played trax from the TOTA tour.
Great booklet (as always with RS label).
Quality: best available.
Rare: quite.
Expensive: quite, but avoid you to buy several boots to get those trax.

I would avoid it personnally...

Retail price for it was around 60 Euros. Don't get ripped off...

it's not "rare" like all RS material. RS has always been a mass-release label.

All the material has been "borrowed" from various previous CDs so you could have achieved the same result with cd-r comps.

on some of their titles RS has used a nasty amount of EQ and hiss-removal that turns the music into a metallic ugly mess. I prefer vintage tapes with a bit hiss as long a they sound natural.

chances are huge better/fresher tapes of some of the same material has appeared on the trading market. So you'll spend big $$$ for sth dated.

If you find it at 60 euros, let me know... I 'll take a dozen!
Btw, I agree RS didn't always did a great job with the sound. The sound of Tattoo Too f.e. is crap.
Not the case here.

Got it today, after 16 years. (Not that I spent searching every day, though.) What an item. 70 Euro is a good price for a vg+ copy. I don't need three rare VGP releases anymore now (although the Detroit VGP has one more song). And I have now both Sure The One You Need live versions on silver. Two relative rare soundboards and the nice MSG audience tape plus a great "rarities" and random soundboard tracks CD. Most tracks probably "stolen" from VGP but why not. Great box incl. booklet with number and many rare pictures. That's one of the real cool items.
