Just listening to Tattoo You Remaster (a job well done!!) who is actually playing that seriously ass kicking solo on the fade out there? It sounds veru Keith but some of those recordings still had Taylor on board did they not??

I think it is Keith.
Taylor is only on Tops and Waiting On A Friend.

Has anyone ever seen note for note TAB on Slave? While it sounds like a very simple riff/tune, I can't for the life of me ever figure it out.

TAB on the solo would be cool too.

Yep, "Slave" is 100% Keith. Great bassline, too (presumably Bill) -Funky stuff- probably my favourite track on "Tattoo You". Having said that, if completed at the time it would have made a welcome addition to "Black And Blue", instead of, say "Cherry Oh Baby" > grinning smiley

< (It does on my version, anyway!)

I've heard a version ("Through The Vaults Darkly", I think- not the "Black And Blue Sessions" I've got) of "Slave" with really bad overdubs by Ronnie (I'm guessing done at the "Tattoo" production sessions)...I can see why they didn't make the album!
