Another VGP cd added to our collections!

Thanks for all your uploads but I have to tell you that those files (I have tested 2 different ones) are lossy. So there is no need for everyone to download those big flac-files. Mp3 will do the same.
Here are the 2 spectral views of Disc 1 Track 1 & Disc 2 Track 5

Well, i have ripped the discs with eac to wav and then converted them to flac, maybe that´s a problem...i´m not that good at these different kind of files...

Has your CD been a copy or a silver?
You can test your files with eac before you upload them for a long time with rapidshare.

I recently got all five gigs from Amsterdam 98 from a friend, maybe he has burnt the cd-r discs from mp3...anyway, i´m going to upload the next 4 shows in the coming days...VGP-192-195...

You haven' t done anything wrong. But to be sure you have a lossless source you can check the files, once you have ripped them to wave, with EAC. If you need some easy help (I' m also not a specialist in this theme) I can try to help you.

Independently of format questions which have their importance, i'm happy to discover these Amsterdam 1998 post !
I'm just wandering what is (are) the best bootleg(s) among them ...
I mean the subtile combination between performance and sound quality which make you prefer one recording to another... Because great shows don't give always great boots and great sound doesn't make great music ! (IMO crucial point of this for the stones Ronnie era is the guitars balance : every time i hope Keith loud in the mix!)
