Same here Erik. I'm snowed-in in my part of the world but I just went to see the Drive By Truckers over last weekend. Fantastic show. You should check them out if you're not familiar with them.

Does anyone think that there will be any more 1972 shows unearthed and circulated? Getting old and starting to think it is time to give up on these shows.

There is stuff out there. How would you track this down?
"The second memory occurred on July 22, 1972 when I attended a Rolling Stones concert at the Civic Arena. Having a super 8 mm movie camera in hand, a friend and I managed to work our way behind the stage area where Mick and the Stones were performing. As I filmed rather up close this really exciting performance, my friend began pulling me backwards as two tough looking band security guards approached us with what appeared to be clubs in hand. We were able to return to our seat unscathed and enjoyed the rest of the show from a distance."

Look at the "1975 thread" for the problems with unearthing some of the shows.

I was under the impression the 'encyclopedic' brain of 'erik' knew it all.

I am very familiar with DBT; they are a solid rock and roll band, rather reminiscent of early '90's Tragically Hip on their albums like 'Up To Here' or 'Road Apples'.

Hi Matt, thanks, yes I'm familiar with Drive By Truckers....great band indeed
BTW, did you notice the Jacksonville 76 torrent on Dime? Sounds quite different from the EX audience recording of that one - which I'm familiar with.
Lots of snow over here, as well!

I hadn't noticed it until you mentioned it. I might already have it. It has the same track listing as the recording I have, but I was unaware that there is two different sources of this show in circulation.

I found this thread by doing a search for the 'Lost Millard Tapes'. It was the only thing that showed up, but I've got to say:
Thanks to all involved here (well one person in particular), for giving me such a great laugh this morning!. There's always one isn't there?.>grinning smiley<
