Baboon Bro, yeah, Time Won't Let Me takes me back. The trumpet player was a guy I went to high school with, John Madrid. He live a block over and was one of the best musicians I have ever met. He recorded that bit of playing while in high school! He graduated in'66 and went on to a great musical career, recording and touring with Boz Scaggs in the '70's. He played with some of the best, with the Buddy Rich band for a while too.

Helluva groovy tune, Time Won't Let Me .. One of my absolute top-favorites among all the 120 tracks on the "original" nuggets-cd-box. Thanks for sharing, Dave!
