My favorite trumpeter at the moment. I like his tone. I hope you take your time listening to this one. Peter Asplund Quartet, "My Funny valentine": [www.youtube.com]

Rock me Baby... with Angus and Malcom...

btw- ignore the actual title, it is as dumb as that "drunk Ronnie" video title

But it is kind of a fun video...
they got as many guitars going as a Blue Oyster Cult or Scorpions show... and it does not leave a much room for Mick

I just love watching Greg Ridley so much; esp. when they are rocking hard.

Video not Available

Was this different to the pro shots we already had for the shows in Paris?

In its rawest state, before the overdubs.

What was with that quick side to side movement of the camera during HTW? Were they trying to decide to film Woody or Keith? Or something far more sinister.....lol

It's funny, the Stones were considered by many to be at their peek in the 70's. But I find listening to their concert footage less appealing than the Jones era or my personal favorite the 81 tour.

No overdubs on the LYL material from this show: HTW, YGM. Nor on IFYCRM/GOOMC Earls Court. Happy was overdubbed heavily and sadly not on this video...

I would have lost that bet!..Sounds just like it from the intro to the music. But I have haven't listened to LYL in a while. Great album, but I mostly listen to the Jones era lately.

I made this little video today...an old flame from 30 years ago popped up, out of the blue, writing he hopes we can reconnect and travel together, "someday after all the dust settles." Not sure which dust, but my response was that sometimes the greatest beauty in life comes from dust unsettled..
